Hello, I’m Karyl Bruno, the owner of Caring Transitions of Boyertown & Harleysville. For over two decades, I worked as an occupational therapist, helping older adults maintain their independence and safety within a continuing care retirement community. Over time, I witnessed the significant stress and uncertainty that come with downsizing and relocating after decades in the same home.
Inspired to make a greater impact, I decided to open a Caring Transitions franchise so I could provide comprehensive, end-to-end solutions—from decluttering and space planning to estate sales and online auctions—ensuring each client’s move is handled with dignity, empathy, and a focus on their long-term well-being.
This decision represented a meaningful career shift, one grounded in my personal belief that everyone deserves caring, informed guidance during challenging life transitions. As a mother of two grown children, I understand what it means to support loved ones through change. My partner, Tim, a former police officer and construction business owner, has been an incredible ally, offering both practical help and unwavering moral support as I build this new chapter of my professional life.
Beyond assisting families with their immediate needs, I aim to make a lasting contribution to the community. I’m committed to partnering with local faith-based retirement communities, sponsoring their benevolent fund events, and advocating for a standard of care that ensures no senior is left without the resources they deserve. Through Caring Transitions of Boyertown & Harleysville, I hope to serve as a trustworthy guide, easing burdens and helping people embrace the next stage of their journey with confidence and comfort.
